will be a week of cycling that you will never
forget as we tackle the critical passes in the
Tour de Georgia and North Georgia's infamous
Gaps!
Brief
Itinerary:
Day 1 - A Hike and Dinner
in Dahlonega
Arrive early
enough to take in a hike to Amicalola Falls...not
to be missed this is a truly beautiful
waterfall, plunging some 700+ feet . We will gather in
the early afternoon for introductions and to
review your tour's itinerary.
Meals: Dinner
Day 2 - Tackle the
Infamous Gaps of North Georgia
Today we set out on
a ride that will take in some of the wonderful
back roads used by the Tour de Georgia and
Georgia's renowned Six Gap century. After our
ride you can stroll around downtown Dahlonega
or relax at the Smith House.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
& Dinner

Day 3 - Brasstown Bald
Today we depart
Dahlonega in route to Brasstown Bald, the
highest point in Georgia and home of the most
critical stage in the Tour de Georgia. Along
the way we will tackle a couple more of North
Georgia's infamous Gaps. After the ride we will
shuttle to our new host for next two nights,
Brasstown Valley Resort.

Day 4 - Nantahala Outdoor
Center
We cycle from
our resort today along the beautiful roads
surrounding the Lake communities of Northern
GA in route to one of Western NC's most
popular destinations, Nantahala. Tonight we celebrate the
experience of the past few days.

Mileage: 60+ miles
Elevation Gain = 4500+

Day 5 - Final Farwell
After breakfast we set out for
Dahlonega along the way tackling the last of
Georgia's gaps. We depart today as a band of
new friends looking forward to our next
adventure together!
